Hickory House ~ Holistic Center
Hickory House was built by Nancy's grandparents, Emma & William Heckler in 1934. They ordered it from a Montgomery Ward's catalogue. It was shipped by rail and arrived on two flat cars - which was convenient because their lot bordered the railroad tracks. Not long after the materials arrived, a work crew of tradesmen followed, and the construction began: The original walls are plaster and lathing. The living room and dining room floors are red oak. And the exterior siding is redwood. We bought the homestead from Nancy's dad in August of 1992. While we've maintained the original ambiance, we've also added some personal touches which include Nancy's therapy room. Whether your visit is for a massage, a healing or an overnight stay - the Hickory House is here for you.

Experience comfort, relaxation, and self-exploration...
